Privacy Policy
At LearnKits (learnkits.app), we take the privacy of educators, families, and students very seriously. This platform is engineered under the principle of Privacy by Design.
1. Data Controller
The data controller for this platform is the LearnKits development team. You can reach out regarding privacy matters at: [email protected].
2. Data We Collect
Using LearnKits worksheet generators does not require any user account or registration. We only process data in these cases:
- You send us an email for support or feedback (we process your email solely to reply).
- You opt in to our Pro waitlist (we process your email exclusively to notify you of launch updates).
- You accept analytics cookies in the consent message: Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, as processor) collects pseudonymised usage data (pages visited, language, generator and level used, printed worksheets, device type and approximate location) to improve the resources. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” in the page footer. Details in the Cookie Policy.
- You visit the site as a non-Pro user: Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited, as an independent controller) shows ads outside the worksheets and processes online identifiers, IP address and approximate location to serve and measure them and to prevent fraud. If you accept cookies in the consent message, ads may be personalised to your interests (legal basis: your consent); if you reject them, they are non-personalised (legal basis: our legitimate interest in funding a free service). Learn more about how Google uses data and in the Cookie Policy.
3. Local Browser Storage (localStorage)
The web app utilizes your browser's local memory (localStorage) for technical purposes only:
- Remembering your preferred language (English, Spanish, or Catalan).
- Saving custom worksheet templates created with the 'Save template' button. These templates reside exclusively on your local device.
- Remembering whether you accepted or rejected analytics and advertising cookies.
4. User Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data. Contact us at [email protected].
